Following on the heels of the admired HP Mini 311, Asus has stimulated the Netbook bar forward by taking a 12-inch Netbook framework and counting both Nvidia's Ion graphics and a dual-core version of Intel's Atom processor (known-as the Atom 330). Formerly we have seen dual-core Atoms only in a handful of Nettop desktops, because of heat issues, and it's just not likely we would see one in anything minor than a 12-inch laptop body. While being small, the 1201N fits in a full-scale keyboard and a 250GB hard drive. The system arrives with Windows 7 Starter and 2GB of RAM.
